WEEKEND HEAD CHEF

Franks Canteen is a small (28 covers), but bustling cafe in Highbury (N5) known for fresh food with a weekly changing menu, excellent friendly service & great coffee. We’ve superb reviews from the Evening Standard, Timeout & many other outlets.

We are looking for a reliable & highly organised head chef to join the current kitchen team for permanent weekend shifts. You will be responsible for leading the kitchen team which consists of one CDP and a kitchen porter. 

Experience working in a busy kitchen is essential and up to previous sous chef level is required. Experience working as a breakfast or brunch chef would also be an advantage. 

The hours are Saturday & Sunday (7am to 3pm). 

Hourly rate £16 plus share of tronc, 28 days (pro-rata) holiday, meals, drinks & paid overtime or we can employ on a freelance basis on receipt of a monthly invoice.
